Volunteer Testimonial - Why I Love Spending Time at HBHER

I first heard about HBH on the local news and was eager to get involved as they were in need of volunteers and were located not too far from my home. After meeting Ari and learning about her unique approach to horse handling and training, I was intrigued and wanted to learn more.

What started out as a weekly volunteer opportunity has now become an essential mental health day (or days, as I am now visiting 2+ days per week), and it's a privilege to spend quality time with these amazing horses who each have a story to tell. The volunteers and Ari and her family have also become wonderful additions to my life and my days at HBH are my favorite days of the week!
