Meet Reba a soon to be adoptable equine at Hoofbeat Heroes

Reba is an active, approximately 14h mare in her teens (late teens, we believe). When she arrived here, she was difficult to catch and tended to be quite anxious when handled. We've been dedicating our time to making catching, grooming and ground work a fun thing for her. Her confidence has been growing and she now approaches people to be caught and has begun actively participating in ground work!

Reba is acceptable for advanced beginners on the ground in a lesson setting and is a great opportunity for students to work with who want to experience helping an anxious horse to build confidence.

Reba seems to be very knowledgeable under saddle. She probably will not be suitable for beginners under saddle, but seems like she'll be a really fun step up horse for a savy intermediate rider and/or a blast for more experienced riders. We'll keep you posted!
